Magic Trick Number 420 – Water Flow

Ever noticed the magical hand gestures that Chris Angel and David Blaine use? Appling their knowledge and art to the good old kitchen faucet will make a real sorry show, unless you use the “Spatial Interaction” touchless kitchen tap! Touch-less as it gets, air-skim your hands in a gesture as to draw out water and pesto…the flow begins. Magic in your hands control everything, temperature, flow, speed, stream, but unfortunately this trick is restricted to the kitchen.

You Mouse Around Here Often?

This mouse is called the “G-Spot” – I am not even effin with you. Where to find the mysterious spot of pleasure’s center? With which woman will it be found? Can it be found? These are all questions. Is this spot to be found within devices? Perhaps a mouse? And if so, what would happen if that spot were found?
To where would it lead?
Any sensible person’s mousy G-Spot would lead directly to Yanko Design, of course! Oh my goodness! The shame! I’ve told you the truth. This mouse has a secret spot. When you find it, to your favorite place on the computer it’s connected to you will go, be it your email provider or your favorite industrial design blog news website

Alluc.org – watch movies, tv shows and more for free!

I was lucky to come across this site via http://freebies.mutum.org/, Alluc.org offers free news, cartoons, tv-shows, animes, movies, as well as music videos and sports videos. The site itself is quite up-to-date, for example popular titles like, The Simpsons Movie, The Break Up, Ghost Rider, Mr Bean’s Holiday, Fantastic 4 can easily be found under the movie’s section. What is unique about the site is that it doesn’t actually host these video files, but acts as a site to share video links, although there are a few out there like TV-Links or Peekvid, but Alluc.org is certainly one of the largest ones on the net.

The thinnest 5-megapixel camera phone to hit the UK yet: A tiny review of Samsung G600

The fact is there are not many 5-megapixel camera phones available to the UK at the moment, when you try to think of one, you would probably come up with the latest Nokia N95 or even maybe Sony Ericsson’s soon to arrive K850i. But right now, there is nothing as thin and slick as the Samsung G600?
Have a look at this video:

Here are some main features:
14.9 mm slider
2.2″ TFT LCD screen with 16 million colours
5.0 megapixel camera (2592?1944 pixels)
Power LED flash
Autofocus with 4x digital zoom
Panorama effects
Macro effects
640 x 480 video camera
Music library which allows offline mode with continuous play
Video media player
FM radio
Bluetooth version 2.0 with dual support
USB 2.0
MicroSD slot
WAP and internet browsing using NetFront Browser V3.4
Page pilot
Virtual pointer
UTrack protection
For some full specs, check out GSMArena.

Have a look at a short demonstration video of the G600 and its comparsion with the N95 after the jump…

However there are a few questions which remains unanswered, why doesn’t it have 3G or Wifi but only EDGE? Is that the reason they were able to make it slimmer? Will the G600 have features which allows you to install java applications like the rest of its rivals? And also will it have fixed the problem with its ringtone + vibration during music play by the time it’s launched? Let’s wait and see…
The Samsung G600 is expected to be out in the UK, by the end of August this year.

A “real live” fish bowl on your desktop!

Here’s an interesting piece of USB gadget I found via Newlaunches.com, “a computer controlled aquarium” from COMFISH! It comes with a “camera interlocking device” (please don’t ask what that means!), which seems to link the fish bowl onto your desktop so that you can see your fish swim in “real time”. You can also control various functions of the tank directly from your pc, like water temperature, flow, the filter, the pump, lighting, etc…

Exclusive Casio 5.1 megapixels handset for Koreans – “5.1 Mega but Stylish”

Casio is set to join the rest of the major brands in the bid for the best 5 megapixels phone, however the new Exilim W53CA by Casio will only be available in Korea.

As pictured, the W53CA will be a clamshell, in my opinion it’s design looks much like Sharp’s 902 and 903, except better! It will be available in red, black and white, some features include a 2.8″ wide VGA screen, 5.1 megapixels camera with autofocus, image stabilization technology, an electronic dictionary, integrated music player function and microSD compatibility.

It’s too bad there is yet very limited info about this phone in English, but based on the little amount of translation we can do, the W53CA will be a reasonably slim camera phone well equipped for those (Koreans) with higher expectations yet desire convenience in handheld digital photography.

Takara Transformers Music Label Series – transforming mp3 players!

Takara Tomy, Japan, released its ‘Transformers Music Label Series in the Japan market, which consists of a ‘Soundwave’ mp3 player which supports memory cards with a SD slot and earphone ‘Frenzy & Rumble’. The mp3 player it self runs on a single AA battery which can last for about 6 hours.
Based on the video I found from YouTube (after the jump), these were available in very limited quantities and were quickly sold (within hours!). However, i have managed to find a site that claims to sell them in a set of two for $169.95 available in mint box:

According to MacNN, since the launch of iPhone on June 29, Apple is said to have sold out of iPhones in 95 of 164 of its stores, while AT&T has nearly depleted its entire stock. iPod speaker docks

With so many iPod speaker docks out there, how do you decide which one to buy? Easy, you listen to the esteemed members of the tech press. And the dock they’re all drooling over is the stunning TEAC Aurb.
Compatible with every iPod/iPhone model out there, this curvaceous slab of audio dynamite delivers a rich sonic punch that’ll knock your socks (and quite possibly your vest and pants) clean off. Indeed several journos rate it alongside the much revered (and much pricier) Zeppelin.

As well as a retractable iPod/iPhone dock, the Aurb (pronounced ‘orb’) boasts an FM tuner, top-mounted CD player and auxiliary/USB inputs so you can play MP3 and WMA files from memory sticks, CDs and more. Take three gizmos into the sitting room? Nah!

If you’re looking for power you’ve come to the right place because the Aurb belts out 100 watts of room-deafening audio via twin 32mm tweeters and 89mm woofers. But it’s not all about wallop because this astounding sound system features a range of equaliser settings to please audiophiles who appreciate subtlety as well as beef-flavoured oomph.

Unlike many speaker docks in its division, the Aurb’s sexy remote is no afterthought; it’s an intuitive, gorgeously-built blipper with matching elliptical styling that allows you to twiddle through menus and playlists with ease.

Best of all, press accolades and audio prowess aside, the Aurb looks like the kind of thing Darth Vader might use to blast out the Imperial March, or even wear on his head. And if that’s not a brilliant reason for hitting the Buy button we don’t know what

The Keyring Breath Tester is a 3 step alcohol test that (as the name suggests) you can keep on your keyring. It's just the thing you need when you're out on the town, and it's incredibly easy to use. Just hold down the power button until the LED turns green and blow across the top of the grill. If the light remains green, then you're under 0.05% BAC*, and in theory in the clear. If the yellow LED comes to life, then you need to use caution (and probably a bus) as it means you're hovering dangerously close to the legal alcohol limit of 0.08% BAC. If the red and yellow LEDs come on, then you should throw your car keys into the nearest river and start weaving your way home as you've had far too much to drink**. If you were silly enough to take our advice and throw your car keys away then you'll be thankful for the breath tester's built-in torch (unless it was attached to your car keys of course).

If you need to ask whether you're too drunk to drive, then you probably are, but rather than trying to remember how much you've drunk in those unfathomable units, just blow on this gadget to find out.
